this is fabulous. you managed to catch him with virtually no motion blur--very nice! good band shots are difficult--but you got it! interestingly--his facial expression goes perfectly with his demon eye--making it almost seem intentional--like part of his "stage costume". nice work! 9--amitchell

yes, yes! i just love this!! the overall mood of this photo is astounding---from the decor of the bar to the overblown lighting--the kind of grainy black and white...and of course the framing highlighting the single guy. i even find myself wondering how awesome it would look if the other two guys weren't in the picture? but who cares! a 10 for you! --amitchell

i dig this--nice mood portrayed here. it is definitely a part of our everyday life. (because of the somewhat monochrome color scheme going on here--just for fun i took the liberty of throwing it in photoshop and changing it to black and white with a little grain-- and liked that too, because the windows give a cool overblown effect there as well.) anyway, nice framing and composition on this one and i also like the subtle motion blur. 8--amitchell

wow, beautiful. this is a very thought provoking and interesting picture. i would like it even better if it were zoomed in just a *tad* closer to give the guy a little more of the spotlight, but otherwise i really like the framing and composition---and i am a sucker for black and white photos like this! 9--amitchell

nice job---this picture portrays quite a bit of emotion. i wonder what it would have looked like as a straight black and white? also i would have liked to see just a tad more headroom--but then again you probably had to crop out some unecessary "sidewalk elements!" these are just other ideas---the picture is great as it is! 9--amitchell
