Congratulations on the Blue - I thought that it would end up somewhere there.

My thought - and others' too, from skimming the comments - was that this is reminescent of those postcards. You can find the kind I'm talking about on www.nouvellesimages.com if you dig around enough. They usually have a Frnech/English title.

This was literally a hurried shot. I sat down to dinner, then suddenly thought, "I should take a photo of this." So I had to set up my new but unfinished light tent, the light and get my camera out. It would have been better if I used my tripod, I suppose - alonger shutter speed would have given a better depth of field.

Oh, and I didn't know they were known as potstickers until looking for a recipe on the internet....

I always thought limes were green. Maybe they're orange when young and turn green; oranges go the opposite way.

I'm sorry to say this, but this will finish very low. It's grainy, out of focus, and very centred (dpc voters generally dislike centred subjects). I guess this is one of your first entries to a challenge. Keep trying - learn the ins and outs of your camera, work with light and learn about composition.
