Challenge
- Relevant to the Challenge? Oddly and compelingly I'd have to say, "Yes."
- Is subject unique (vs. unoriginal or rehashed)? Yes
Compostion
- Good or Bad? How can it be fixed? Okay the thing that bugs me about the composition is that the other limb is directly behind the focal point. It... It... I'm at a loss to describe what feels wrong about it. The background is awsomely done though.
- Good use of Depth of Field? Yes You did a good job of making the background go out-of-focus.
- Good focus? Yes
Lighting
- Good use of light? Yes
Aesthetics/Artistic Appeal:
- Colors and Contrast The colors are nice, vibrant even, and the contrasting of the light green leaves and the dark green background is perfect. THAT'S IT. That's the compositional issue. The contrast pulls the eye from the focus of the lime buds.
- What is my reaction or feelings? It's a well done photo, but is a little busy, in my opinion. It's outside the box, which I like, but others didn't seem to appreciate it inside the challenge.

| not sure of how well this meets the challenge, not as much effort as some of the other entries, great macro, DOF and use of natural light - love the water drops - nice work :) |

| Nice colors, good composition, good use of shallow DOF and generally decent technical quality. The only thing lacking in this image is a high interest eye catching item such as having a very large water drop that inverse reflects withini it the lime on the branch in the back. |

| Beautiful pic, wonderful colors and dof. May suffer for those looking for a literal recipe. But I will look at it as a "before" you cut them up and put them into a drink :-) |

| I always thought limes were green. Maybe they're orange when young and turn green; oranges go the opposite way. |

Thus is a very nice image indeed. Well exposed, well composed, good use of DOF.
