Riseby JutildaComment: This is absolutely too awesome! The way she is looking at the bird makes the statue almost lifelike. And the bird flying up to her somehow seems to symbolize something. . OH YES! . . .rising hope -- with certainty. PERFECT!!!! |

north shore.jpgby ltlmschrisssComment: Honeymoon???? Did you just get married ??? CONGRATULATIONS!!! Your beach series is so pretty. But this is my favorite. Its absolutely stunning with that perfectly shaped and not blown out sun with the starbursts. And the rest is so smoothe and clean. What a romantic place to be on a honeymoon.

5-april 08. insects & incidentals. weevilsby rozComment: Whoa!! Roz!! Way to make this amazing!! It's like they blend in and literally come out of the tree. Your photography and processign skills are so phenomenal. I just sit here and awe over the ever-so-sharp little fuzzies on their legs. Their eyeballs, the texture on their backs. The color tones. Wow! |

Could I have this kiss foreverby Ragga2000Comment: Oh, I think this is beautiful Ragga! I love that the heads are cropped off because it makes the intimacy the subject. If you could see their heads -- it would be a portrait type photo of THEM. This photo is about the beautiful physical intimacy between people who are in love. I think you did a great job -- and I'm disappointed in the voters for not rating this higher. (Geee. . .wish I had a dollar for every time I'd been disappointed in the voters :) I'd be rich.)

Love in Bloomby L1Comment: Oooooh, I like the effect too! Thank you for explaining how you did it. I want to try that. It's subtle, but it really makes your subject stand out almost 3-dimensionally. What a sweet photo too. They look so unaware of anyone else in their world, don't they?
