Gun Turn inby BAMartinComment: How FUNNY. . .Ironic. What a life magazine photo. Turn in your guns for Holy Month. Then get them back and start shooting again :) I love the dichotomy too of the mommy and her baby strolling down the street. Very cool photo, Barbara.

the telephoneby JutildaComment: Wow again, Judy! How BEAUTIFUL! This is definitely a niche for you. Have you considered selling your work to greeting card companies. I think there are some online ones that buy stuff like this -- better yet -- start your OWN! Jeeeeez you are good!

Joy-Pinky-Dogwood&Weeds (88).jpgby 777STANComment: Well, at first when I looked at the other one, I was going to say, "Hmmm. ..I think this translates to black and white beautifully!" It really is a striking photo with such beautiful contrast. But then when I saw this one. I have to admit to this one with its rich subtle tones of deep greens and fresh yellows. Exquisite! Course. . .even tho I love black and white photography -- sometimes -- I am definitely one that hasn't caught on to the "its gotta be black and white to be artsy and dramatic" craze. I generally do prefer color photos.
Both of them are really lovely!

Claire: Portrait of a Big Sisterby trevytrevComment: Ohmygosh! Claire is BEAUTIFUL! Look at those eyelashes! And yes. . .her eyes make me sad. You can feel her little soul in them. She WILL grow out of it, and one day her sisters will be her best friends and what makes family life the joy of her life. But it IS hard when a new one comes along -- but TWO!!! Sheeeeeesh. Your poor, amazingly BLESSED sister! She must be an exhausted zombie!
But what a BLESSING! Twin pictures please?????? |

Day 4: Balconyby socalsteveComment: I love these quaint old balconies. They remind me of Europe or somewhere more exotic than Texas :)

Min(t) (4/3)by karmatComment: I don't think it is all that easy to do -- to get such fresh pure white without blowing it out -- with not a trace of a shadow -- with deep rich reds. Looks like this has the master's touch for sure :)
And a hint of Christmas in April. Yes!
