| Fascinating study of small-town life. If the sign weren't hand painted it just wouldn't have the same appeal. The lady with the stroller adds to the overall effect. |

| I have heard of many people giving various things up for lent, but guns are a first for me:) Nice composition and a nice journalistic shot. |

| I see interesting hidden shapes. Specifically a triangle made from the gun turn in sign, the taqueria, and the stop sign, which nice encapsulate the mother and daughter into the environment. I like it. |

| I can't say I've seen a gun turn in based on Lent before - that's really quite interesting! A very intriguing slice of life picture. In my mind, this wouldn't work at all in color. |

| Something out of the Wild West. I love the juxtaposition of the the sign, the woman with the stroller, and the sign for tacos in the background. Wonderfully weird. |

| This is so weird. Being from Canada I can't grasp that this is actually going on in other parts of the world. This image kind of reminds me of old images from the 60's for some reason. Must be the heavy contrast in the women with the stroller. |

How FUNNY. . .Ironic. What a life magazine photo. Turn in your guns for Holy Month. Then get them back and start shooting again :) I love the dichotomy too of the mommy and her baby strolling down the street. Very cool photo, Barbara.
