The Reluctant Frog Kingby Breeee123Comment: Briana! CONGRATULATIONS! This photo is absolutely awesome! And kudos to your outstanding green model. Not quite as beautiful as your other model :) but a striking figure nonetheless. Congratulations on an honorable mention! I wish 4 ribbons could have been given out for this one.

Snow White by aimeethetooComment: Oh Aimee! A genius shot, executed flawlessly! Sorry you didn't hang on to your 8. It deserves it, but then, with a 7.78 finish, it's hard to feel too sorry for you :) Congratulations on so many levels for this!

Cameron At Bayby Jason_CrossComment: I love it! You have spectacular post-processing skills. The voters just rob people of great scores in Free studies it seems. They are so hard!

Frontmanby Jason_CrossComment: With this one, my thoughts are that I'm afraid our voting community still has a bit of the "doesn't get it" disorder as far as being artsy and creative. To me, it very much looks like a high-6, dpc-friendly style as far as subject, composition and processing, but the artistic (and very cool in my opinion) use of blur probably is a little ahead of most of the voters in the artsy department. Plus, the free study factor doesn't help much either.
Again, tho, I think it is AWESOME, and one I would have voted really high.

The Door to Her Dreamsby Jason_CrossComment: I think they are particularly brutal in voting in free studies. If this photo were submitted to a typical member challenge, if it was "in your face" on topic (like unfortunately the voters de mand) I think it would score in the high 6's.
It is fabulous! It reminds me a little of Joey Lawrence's work.

life in miniatureby rozComment: Oh Roz! No wonder you are my macro hero. This is perfection! Not only macro detail to the nth degree, but in the context of a beautiful photo.
Oh, and I'm with Andrew. 42nd place? Not in my opinion! |

Should have listenedby Ragga2000Comment: This is AWESOME, Ragga! This one should have ribboned! A bummer, indeed. . .although, I'm not sure I would mind having to walk in that breathtaking scenery under any conditions :) |
