What strikes me about this photo is the contrast of their situation, with how pretty they both are. I mean. . .cleaned up and not homeless, that girl especially could be beautiful!
What in the world happened to their lives that got them there. I agree: this is photojournalism at its finest!

Just a Turtleby BradComment: No. . .not really just a turtle. . .it's a perfectly photogrpahed turtle in an awesome scene of soft blue water (and I love the one little ripple in the middle :) For some reason, I love turtle photos, so this really appeals to me! Great job shooting just a turtle!

I've always had and loved cats, but I have always wanted an orange one and have never had one. Sigh. I have a calico cat now, and it's my husband's fault that I don't own an orange one too. This photo makes me want on even more :) |
