Serena was right! This photo is spectacular! I gave it a 10, and I only gave a few in this challenge! Congratulations on 5th place! I would not have been surprised to see this one with a red or blue ribbon!

You've read all about how people love your waves and rocks and clouds, so I'll leave that out.

The ship, however has had minimal attention, at least in the way of comments, and I'd have you know I like it and find it well placed (as far as aiming the camera - of course you didn't place it there).

Well done

I'm someone who's been known to go and sit by the rocks and watch the waves crash like this for hours. I think this shot captures the impact well.

I would have maybe tried to capture just a little more of the wave impact. Not moving it to the middle of the composition, obviously; but perhaps a little closer to the centre. And I'd have cropped more tightly - there's a lot of rock with not very much happening. You need a reasonable amount of rock to give the wave-crash some context, but there's a bit too much here.

But I do like the wave-crash. Just the right amount of blur.

I like this photo. I think kthe picture looks oversharpened (I think that's what I think the issue is). I love the wave though. It looks great.

Looks like fireworks! ;^) Appropriately titled. You did a nice job with exposure on this. Nearly blown out on the whites in the center of the crashing wave. I like the early/late day sunlight on the rocks and the shadows the light creates. I haven't decided if the ship in the background adds or takes away from this image. No matter...

Good luck in the challenge.

I see this as stop action and not motion blur. IT seems a tad over sharp. Maybe it's the lighting due to time of day. It's a pretty scene.

Amazing capture here. You timed this perfectly. I feel like the rocks are lacking some detail, and since they are the main part of the image it really takes away from the splash. I'll deduct a point for that...I still really like this image.
