Nailby MelethiaComment: Not bad at allllll! How come you're using a Sony Point and Shoot? Because it's little and you can take it anywhere? Bill gave up using our rebel for the same reason.
Yeah. . .that macro feature works much better than the 20D, which is non-existant. But I suuuuuuuuuuure would love a macro lens.

Bus stopby MelethiaComment: This really is a bus stop? It's very interesting. The architecture has such clean straight lines. The selective desat is so expertly done. Too much makes it look too fake -- but this is perfect to just accent the blacks and whites beautifully.

day 19. slice of life. katee & aliby rozComment: Oh Roz!!! This is so amazing! As I read the first part of your description, I was thinking: Man, this is so MY kind of photo because I LOVE that high key look. Then I read where you were inspired for it by my photos :) I love that. And this is fabulous.
This photo really really touches me today, because I learned yesterday that a good friend who I hadn't heard from in a while lost his daughter and her dogs in an accident in the spring, and I have had my friend so MUCH on my heart since then. Seeing this somehow feels like a tribute to my thoughts for him :(

Slice of Life - Day 17 - Fall Leafby JLCComment: A perfect illustration of a rainy autumn day. I love that texture of the sidewalk. . .in this texture craze we are all in. . . .it would really make a cool overlay for other pictures too.

day 16: rooftop birdby ErinMComment: PERFECT, Aaron. All the elements come together so well in this photo. I love it. I love the slightly textured sky. The old looking rich brick, and then topping it off with that lone bird on top for interested and a pop of the unexpected! Awesome!

day 17: autumn daysby ErinMComment: I hope she was just soaking in a beautiful autumn day and not sitting there lonely and empty. The day does look awesome, so I'm going to think the former.
It's such an emotive photo. It really draws you in.

After-the-rain.jpgby jandpComment: Oh, I love the light on this. Not a trace of anything blown out, and the colors are so intense and rich. What a beautiful aftermath of a storm! |
