I like the rich intense autumn colors in this one. I actually am one in the minority that really prefers color photos to black and whites usually. I like both of yours -- but if I had to choose one that just has the edge in appeal, I think I'd pick this one.

Auuuuugh. . .are you kidding me??? I think we should all have at least one of these lighthouses a day so we would never ever cease to be awed and inspired! I just can't get over how beautiful this scene is!! I would never get tired of seeing stunning pictures of lighthouses -- I just wish I could go down to our coast and get one for myself. . .but the Texas coast. . .bleh. . .wouldn't look this beautiful anyway! The water would be choppy green with a touch of mud, and there'd most likely be junk and "stuff" cluttering up the lighthouse area. . . so keep posting yours, okay?

Standing alone, this photo makes you study it and enjoy how interesting it is with the grungy rust and the appealing way the sharp nails come out of the shallow depth of blurry ones. But the story behind these nails makes it something more. A memory. Something that would take you back to the past any time you looked at it.

Yes... matted and framed this one would look quite nice!
