OK, someone suggested to select the background and make it darker. I didn't know how to select the background, so I made a duplicate layer, darkened that, then erased where the dear face was. I also sharpened it a little bit. Then burned around the mouth becuase it got too light.

Yes, I like your edits on this one alot. It makes him stand out. What a cute face. It looks like you were really close to him.

What part of Colorado do you live in? We go to Estes Park a couple of times every year, and I can't get enough of the beauty there!

Nice job! The contrast provided by the darker background really makes your subject stand out more. They sure do have big ears, don't they?!

This is neat. Your technique is the same one I like to use now and then. Unfortunately it's not allowed in many challenge rules.
