I Want a New Life....Please!by MartinComment: It looks like there's some kind of flare or reflection on the left side of the face...was this taken through glass? I like the expression on the face...good job :)

New Forms For Rosy Futures!by JakComment: The bright orange tags take away...perhaps if you had tucked them under? Also if they were all laying flat and they same way it would have come across a bit better?

Steps away from finishing.......by JeanComment: I like this picture...but I'm not getting the something new element. However, I do like the composition of the shot and I like the contrast in the b&w...particularly on the wall. The quality is good also. Good job!

Extensionby zacowacoComment: I don't know what it is but there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in this shot...maybe if it were b&w it would be a little more dynamic? The light in the window is a little distracting also...

New Dayby willsy66Comment: I like this a lot...beautiful colors! Only thing..I wish that I could see the full silhouette of the center tree. But maybe that wasn't possible because of the environment and the lens used...maybe if it were taken vertically? Great job -7

fawnby KrazyKatComment: Hi everyone I just wanted to say thanks for all of the great comments! This was my first entry to dpchallenge and I am glad that it has been a positive experience. I initially wasn't going to enter the "something new" competition because I couldn't think of any ideas. But last Saturday I was driving around photographing barns and I saw Noah’s Ark, a wildlife reserve and rescue. They had several acres of protected habitat for all types of wildlife including deer. Well of course I had to stop and see what pictures I could get! I spent about 3 or so hours stalking some doe (which luckily weren’t too skittish ) when I saw this little guy. Well I knew right then and there that I had my “something new.” Thanks again!

The birth of.....by psychephylaxComment: Good lighting and good original idea...I think that you should maybe try it again minus the candles...they kind of distract from the bible. I love how the light brought out the cracks in the leather of the binding...very visual! Good job! -8
