My height will never be under authorityby balaaComment: sorry, but without a title, there is no tie to the challenge. as for the image, it has potential. the flares are taking away from capturing the detail that would make it more interesting to really absorb, rather than one to quickly pass over. the angle and the colors are what keep my interest. |

Bad Flamingo!!!by Melly8522Comment: this is an interesting composition. while i appreciate your humor, i think you missed a great opportunity in this challenge with your model. her expression, shot from below, would just scream "Don't Question Me!". as is, i'll give it a grin and wonder, just how does one punish a bad flamingo? |

Courthouse Columnsby banmornComment: great detail--you can even clearly see the grommets! would prefer it rotated for the slight tilt. might have been a bit stronger if you had backed around to the right and allowed for 10-20% more dead space in the upper right corner. |

Water Copsby GoboltsComment: this is a tough shot to take. you need enough light to make the boats stand out, but you don't want to wind up with undue hotspots and flaring. while this fits the challenge as representing symbols of authority, without a distinct subject, it comes off a bit snap-shotty. |

Psychic authorityby theodor38Comment: this shot is superb! if it doesn't ribbon, it will be because not enough people tie it to the challenge. who knows? you may get lucky...what does your reader tell you? hey, do you know what i scored this the first time through? do you know what i'm going to score it now? do you know if i changed my mind? |

The authority on Graffitti as an art formby kiwinickComment: this is an interesting shot. would have preferred the subject facing into the image rather than out of it. the colors are captivating. as far as the challenge goes, i think it is a stretch (and, unless this person has actual ties to the graffitti, you might also have found a more vibrant example). |

Stop/Go...Wait/Walkby dmlemanComment: this is a tough shot for the challenge. as the sign is not really the subject, the image relies on the title for a point of reference. maybe if you had set up the shot slightly to the left, or had cropped out the person with the unbrella. just a slight change in perspective could make all the difference in the world. |
