Nice clean shot, like the framing. The turn signal indicators are small distraction.
I actually had this same idea for this challenge but didn't have time to shoot it... and I also have a late model diesel VW Jetta (Bora) !

Nice crisp contrasty image. I think it cold be improved with a more difffuse light source to soften the shadow.

I like your choice of composition, think I would have gone cooler on the colors, but that's just my first impression. One of my favorites this challenge, a very original and well-executed idea.
