I threw those dice about 60 times and I ended up choosing this one because the red dice were in focus, and it just worked out best. Shot under 1000 watt halogen lights

Good fast action capture. Good saturation on the reds. The background clutter is distracting but an excellent effort

Great stop-action shot. I like the way the dice seem to bounce. Great lighting and detail on the textures of the dice themselves and the table.

Good stop action and choice of the red dice, standing out from the white ones--

A techical standout. Perfect DoF, framing. Nice use of selective color. Would have worked well for simplicity as well, IMO

Mybe just a tad too much noise in the shot. I do love how you stopped the action and your use of selective coloring. Good stuff.

Wondeful shot! I can't imagine how long it must have taken to get this one right. Composition is excellent. Could be a tad brighter and less grainy, but thats a lot to ask considering the film and shutter speeds you must have been using.

Very cool action shot. I LOVE the red and black colors and the composition is fantastic! I don't think the pic fully fits the challenge of "shapes" since it doesn't focus on just part of one dice, but it's a great shot anyway. :) Also, you should have used NeatImage or something to smooth out the red. Good job.

Great capture of movement, nice use of colour and DOF. Can't quite decide whether composition works for me - it doesn't feel balanced but that kind of goes with the idea of the movement of the dice...

Very nice indeed. You've caught the motion perfectly, and I actually rather like the grain.

the texture of the dice seems a little oversharpened and the focus is a tad soft.

great use of color with desaturation, and the action is very nice.

nice use of lighting, though i find myself distracted a little by the contents in the backround.

I really like this, the dice in motion puts interest in this shot, the red dice with the plain black and white was also a good choice, good focus and vivid colors 9
