Nothing To Wearby ShannonLeeComment: I love the way you have turned something so mundane into a work of art. Shots like this are much more interesting than posed portraits. |

day 2 - tennis courtby GinaRothfelsComment: Originally posted by alexjack: The bright area at the top tends to pull me there though and is a bit distracting if the main subject is the net. A bit higher angle may have got you past that. |
Yes, I wish I could have done that. Unfortunately this tennis court is no longer in use and I could only take the photo through the fence. It was quite difficult to get the angle I wanted without the fence getting into the shot. |

B&W - Day 1by mkComment: Where I live I hardly ever get to see trains or railway tracks. But when I was a small child, my grandparents used to live right beside a railway. When we went to visit them on our annual holiday, my bedroom used to face right out onto the railway and I could sit at the window at night and watch the trains going by. This photo makes me feel rather nostalgic for those days.

Day 1by eamurdockComment: Great image with perfect lighting. I much prefer this to the straight black & white. |

Day 2 - Penby jonfrommkComment: Nice work on this one. To me the grain works well as it brings a sense of age to the old-fashioned subject. |

Day 1 - Evby jonfrommkComment: With a bit more contrast this would look really good. The good news is that it's easy to fix in post-processing, so you don't have to start from scratch. |
