As I've fallen a bit behind, I decided to submit another image from day 1. The lighting was a bit of a problem here, but I don't think it looks too bad in black and white.

I like this shot, lovely feel of slight dilapidation that is enhanced by it being in B&W. Nice DoF and cropped to perfection

I too like the shadows falling on the net. Kind of symbolic of the court no longer being in use.

not bad at all, would be interesting with a tighter crop cutting out the pole just leaving the net, the lines and the shadows so th e object in not so obvious.

Yes, I wish I could have done that. Unfortunately this tennis court is no longer in use and I could only take the photo through the fence. It was quite difficult to get the angle I wanted without the fence getting into the shot.

I love the play of light, and also the shadows, that you have captured in this one.....

Interesting shot, lots of contrast. The bright area at the top tends to pull me there though and is a bit distracting if the main subject is the net. A bit higher angle may have got you past that or even a crop. Nevertheless, nicely done.

Very dramatic with the diagonal line and the contrast. This is an image I looked at for a long time.
