Hobby to Habitby swisskissComment: Yup great WMD (weapon of mass destruction) here, sometimes when the neighbors turn the country music up real loud, well (oops thats another story). This is a great view and the expression on the models face (and clarity) sets this whole shot up nicely. Could have worked in the unusual viewpoint challenge as well. Good dof and nothing distracting in the background. Good Job. |

Nervous Nail Bitingby L1Comment: Great close up. Good crop leaving the eye so that we feel a sense of concern on the models part. Great use of b/w (this would have be overpowering in color). Great expression. |

Marble Madnessby DonatienComment: This would have been perfect if not for the extra reflections in the color marble (I know a bit nit picky here). I give high you high marks but could have gone a bit higher. A lot of time and effort went into this composition, it is a beautiful shot. I may have had someone/something hold up a sheet behind me to remove the window glare on the left and the fridge looking thingy on the right. The red spot on the marble seems out of place but on the none color marbles fits the picture perfectly. Just my thoughts. |

At the center of the pictureby Luca66Comment: Cool concept, subject centered (people or that nut looking thing I can't be sure). If this is a hub cap on a car, I may have shot it from the other side of the car. The sun tends to blow out the center of your composition and enhance the scratches on the crome surface. If the crome surface couldn't be moved, I might have shot this at a different time of day, perhaps noonish or early afternoon. Sometime where the sun was not in the shot, it just seems to be overpowering here. |

metal ballsby oferashelComment: This is a neat idea, I like how the balls continue to reflect inside each other. I would have like to seen a little more detail, but understand that would be tough to pull off as reflective objects are hard to shot without picking up distractions in a room. Maybe if this was shot inside a white light box you could have increase the lighting and detail. Just my thoughts. |

Self Centeredby arnitComment: Excellent job on this one. Composition, lighting, clarity and crop are near perfect. Provokes emotion. |

"T" in placeby vaguiloComment: Us guys can spot this bad habit from a mile away... IMO The crop and the location take away from this picture. If you couldn't capture this in a beach/pool environment, I might have thrown a blanket or beach towel out on the back lawn in a nice sunny area. Have the subject laying face down maybe reading a book held by the right hand and the left hand picking the floss as you have here. Take the shot from a tripod near the subjects feet and kind of catch the whole body and still keep the animinity by not catching the subjects face. I would try to catch the dof where the hand/string are in focus but the rest of the pic a little fuzzy. If you don't have a lawn availbable this could have been done in a bedroom as if the subject was dressing for the beach/pool kind of thing. Just my thoughts, I think it would be better with more objects in the picture. |

Hitting The Snooze Buttonby ShakeyComment: Great concept, great use of b/w. Excelletly timed shot. Crop may be a little tight for me (near the hammer head)...but high marks. |

Bee Tineby justineComment: Neat shot, I gave pretty good marks for this but feel I could have gone higher with just a little better detail of the fly (body and wings). Maybe throwing some sopt lighting on the fly would have helped acheive that. Cool Idea and very good shot. |

Statue of Christby tyt2000Comment: Lot of stuff going on here, but stll a very good shot. I may cropped it a little closer to the subject, leaving some of the shadowed detail above the circle down to the inscription. I don't see the sky adding a whole lot to this angle. Still a very good shot. |
