Didn't see this one before. the lighting is exceptional. I love the hint of colours coming through.

Wonderful, fun shot. The title ties in with the theme of the challenge so well. Love the lighting, love the pose (how many times did you have to jump to get this?), love the creativity in so many of your photos, this one included.

Agreed - this was outstanding and quite unusual.

DPC seems to be going down in my estimation - perhaps it's growing to large - looking at the top 20 I struggle to understand why shots as good as this are not 1st or 2nd.

love it. great lighting. nice crisp focus. maybe a little shallow depth as the front foot is a little blurry, but no great loss there. I wonder how many of these you took before you got the one you wanted? ;) This should score well. P

Fantastic capture. I'm guessing you are sitting on a black chair in front of a black background. Very well thought out. 10

Wonderful lighting, exposure and timing! Lighting gives it a very mysterious yet intense quality. With this subtle lighting - this is one case where the border has to go! I know it's just a thin line but your image with be better without it.

Interesting pic to say the least. I'd like to hear how it was done. Maybe just a little light on the subject, but I think it's pretty good as is.

Interesting idea. Very crisp action shot for such low lighting. Good luck.

Great light - rear-threequarter angle is always effective, and a certain commendable confidence in not using any fill to assuage the crowd. room to breathe in the framing too. composition works, though not sure exactly why. 7

If this had been a person who would be interesting, picturing a jester in this pose would have scored higher.

great concept on this! The gray halo around him is odd, especially near the feet. Very high marks though for this shot.

Lighting is just amazing, surely you have a winner here
