Self-portrait of my worst habit...nail biting (usually when worried or stressed). Taken in my dining room with a clamp light from the garage and my camera set up on a monopod between my knees. Post production: desaturated; auto levels/contrast; resized; sharpened - all in PS; ran through NeatImage to clean it up a tad.

I was going to photograph a good habit, but none of the things I thought of turned out very well, so I was kind of stuck with having to shoot a bad habit. Oh well...

Very good DOF on a close-up shot. Good contrast and use of B&W.

Great close up. Good crop leaving the eye so that we feel a sense of concern on the models part. Great use of b/w (this would have be overpowering in color). Great expression.

I wonder if your being recognizable will affect your score? This is one of the shots I wanted to try, but failed; your take is great!!!

I would have like to seen the focus a little bit more on her eye... it has a "seeped in worry" look that seems more important than the nail bitting. Perhaps cropping the bottom of the photo just below the bottom of her lips, to exclude a large portion of her finger would redirect the focal point.

Nice use of b&w. Not as fond of the perspective, I feel that its to low. Nice sharpness though and very well fits the challenge. Good job...

Good choice of using B&W here, and the close-up shot adds to the picture tremendously! Good job! 9
