Midsummer Lightning Over Nantucket Soundby Bear_MusicComment: Fantastic light - and lightning! I'm guessing the lightning provided most of the light on the scene, while the other part of 12 seconds it was too dark and the camera shake isn't too visible... Handheld natural flash photography? :).
Congrats on the top 10, stunning image! Like Ursula, I love the visible shake on the green light. |

Strollin'by hesitantComment: Fritz Lang or Flash Gordon :), it was my only 10 and a fave. Absolutely amazing and timeless. This challenge wouldn't have been so rich without this one. |

No one else but youby colorcarnivalComment: Very very delicate, Michelle. This was one of my top picks. I love how they are totally isolated from the environment (represented by the man speaking). Anyway I think bvy expressed much more clearly how I feel about this image. |

Perfect Landingby dahlinComment: This could be from an airplane and yet it seems a little too low for a landing and too high for a ground shot...? :)
Excellent shot, great expression of the most anticipated moment in a flight - and all that in a wide canvas. This needs more pixels to show grandness. Also needs to be shown in that house on the right, in large format :). |

al denteby FourPointXComment: Great shot Joe, perfectly sharp and at the right moment! The trimmed grass in front tells me this is in your back yard :).
I agree about the shallower depth of field, might have worked better. Personally I would even make the background darker. But a great catch nonetheless! |
