Captivityby TychoComment: A major no-no in my book is... not being able to see the eyes. |

The light of my lifeby mffnqueenComment: The thing I would look for in this is a bit more sharpness in the detail. (not that you need to sharpen it in the computer ... but it appears maybe you were just outside of the focus point for the lens, perhaps too close to focus?)

By the Seaby snackwellsComment: This is amazing in that it appears as just a plain old snapshot. And at the same time, it is anything but! I like the leading lines (fence, trees, shoreline and waves). The exposure is perfect in spite of a bright sun with its potential for harsh shadows. And I love the colors. My only complaint might be that her arms just disappear out of the picture... it leaves me wondering why they were cropped. But other than that, I really like this image. Good luck in the challenge! |

The Lookoutby ManicComment: Love the shallow DOF. And even though the squirrel has his back to you, you can still see his eye. (a major grievance of mine is when you can't see the eyes of the person or animal) So big plus for you. Love the colors in the background too. Makes the picture very interesting. My only nit might be a wish for a tad more sharpness around the eye. Good luck in the challenge! |

Comtemplationby sgauriaComment: Interesting how the view through the glasses is in focus... I'll have to try that some time. Good luck in the challenge! |

Beautifull Eyes!by JeremyFleuryComment: This has been oversharpened. You can see it along the edge of the chin, throughout the hair and eyebrows, on the lips, etc. Yet it also looks softened. Perhaps NeatImage was used? Sometimes NI is too agressive and you have to turn it down so you don't soften too much or sharpen too much. |

Half Wayby instepsComment: The composition and colors on this are just perfect. I could wish for a little more sharpness in the bridge (the top half). But still, this is a very nice picture! Good luck in the challenge! |
