Remorseful Glowby tryals15Comment: A good example of a situation where HDR could be used to good advantage. However, there is little detail revealed in the shadowy areas of the image, including the man's face. You managed to suppress the glow of the light bulb very effectively. Still a very compelling image! |

Extreme Dynamic Rangeby bryanbrazilComment: Seems the opposite to me, somewhat compressed dynamic range. Indeed, the histogram data does not effectively fill the range and cuts off at both ends, especially the the high end. Perhaps the result is what you intended, but it seems lacking in contrast to me. The shot is quite compelling and beautiful when the histogram is adjusted. |
