The Light in His Eyesby AutumnCatComment: What a beautiful memory to have of your beloved Kirby. My condolences on your loss...I know you will treasure the photos you have that capture the light in his eyes as seen here. :) |

Times Square, 2005 by pawdrixComment: Holy Lord. This rocks! I especially like the "Need More Space" sign on the left. ;) I thought I had found a picture earlier that screamed pawdrix but this one is the one for sure. I have GOT to go to NY now!!!! :) |

Going Grungeby SJCarterComment: Outstanding... maybe too much brick on top, but still excellent processing. |

Going Grunge IIby SJCarterComment: Your eyes are quite piercing...very important in adding the emotional depth in this portrait. I also like the composition a lot, prefering it over the vertical as well. :) |

Harsh Realityby SJCarterComment: I really like the position of your body relative to the bricks and wood in this one... my one complaint is that the irises of your eyes aren't visible...just the whites, which looks more possessed than grungy IMHO. Perhaps cloning in a tiny bit more iris in the eyes...but that might be completely opposite of what you were going for. Very cool processing. :) |

breeze.jpgby MAKComment: This is lovely, with refreshing colors and a nice, breezy feel...but I don't think it would have stood a chance in the WA challenge. When I think of WA for landscapes (such as this is), I think of vast images - a large or widespread area w/in the frame, and this is just a small field of view IMHO. Of course there are many interpretations, but that's just mine. That being said, it's still a nice image. :) |
