silverleafby admart01Comment: Nice sharpness and use of DOF. Good exposure control as well. I might prefer a tiny bit more contrast. Well done and fits the username nicely. :) |

..::: dark0harlequin :::..by FalcComment: I keep coming back to this image...such gorgeous, rich color. Very emotive, very surreal. Technically, the light and the DOF are perfect for the title and the type of shot you have selected for the name. Wonderful job and I hope you do well....sometimes gems like this one are skipped over and that would be a shame. :) |

wavelengthby banmornComment: Excellent abstract. I might push the sats and contrast a tiny bit more, but I'm a notorious overdoer in that respect. Wonderful composition! :) |

Pioneerby linda12201Comment: This is very nice. I think the snow is a tad too blue but that might be my monitor. I wish there were more light on the horse and cowboy, but under the weather circumstances I'm sure this is the best sun you could get. Nice image and I'd hang it up on my wall at work for sure. My office is a Texas/western cowboy theme so it would work nicely. :) |

starfishby John WhiteComment: Beautiful. There is slight vignetting on the corners but not enough to distract. If anything, I'd suggest cloning out the white spot above the starfish and possibly the other larger spots near it. Gorgeous color, great placement of the starfish in the foreground. Lovely image. :) |

'garlic'by suemackComment: Excellent exposure control. I still see plenty of detail in the whites, and the tonal range is not lost between white and the darker areas of the pod. Good composition and sharpness as well. :) |

Featherby spydrComment: This is very nice, with a good tonal range and clarity. I'd suggest putting the feather more on the diagonal in the frame, to lead the viewer's eye from one corner to the other, through the entire width of the image...as it is, the eye just moves up and stops abruptly, leaving the viewer wanting to see more that isn't there. Like I said, though, it's very nice all the same. :) |

Tuckersmomby Man_Called_HorseComment: I'm not sure I understand the message presented. The photo itself, IMHO, is cluttered with a lot of info that is either extraneous or confusing. The red out-of-focus element in the foreground is more of a distraction than anything (is it a shoe?) and the hot spots on that same element really pull the eye away from the figure, which is what I assume is the main subject. The image is not evenly-lit, which is a bit distracting as well, especially in the background. The blown-out area on the left contrasts a bit too heavily with the darker area on the right. The texture on the wall is a bit of a distracting element as well. If you could seperate the subject from the background more, it would be smoother and more pleasing to the eye. Please take my critique with a grain of salt, because I am no pro. I just wanted to offer my immediate thoughts. |
