Shoehorn Photography - Slips Easily Into Narrow Challengesby Dr.ConfuserComment: Originally posted by yospiff: I was very surprised to see this came in under my own shoehorn entry. It's well lit, sharp and detailed. I would have thought this good for at least a low 5. Only thing I can think of is that it truly was a shoehorn, where mine had some lame superhero figures in it. I would not be true to myself If I did not give you a shoehorn award for both the humor and the shoehorn. Display it proudly or ignore it at your own risk. Mwahahahaha!!!!

I humbly accept the award with all due respect to the academy and my critics, and with profound disappointment in the Nobel nominating committee. I will proudly display it on my profile page. |

Submergingby robaComment: I feel this should have scored higher. The sky and the reflections are exceptional. You're keeping up the reputation of the (US) Pacific Northwest! |

gotham returnsby oldbimmercoupeComment: This is a wonderful photo, evocative of another time, which I quite liked. I had hoped it would score higher but then again, 6.3xxx is a very good score. This shows me you've got talent and a good eye. I hope to see more great work from you. |

Longing for the way it once was in Thailandby jbsmithanaComment: You must mean before they closed the airports and stranded 300,000 travelers ... (just kidding). Nice capture of an emotive portrait. On my calibrated monitor, the face is somewhat dark. Would like to see her face a little more. Nice catchlights in her eyes. Nice detail in the hat. |

Beautiful Innocenceby toddheadComment: Well composed, captured and presented. I hope her face is this china-doll-perfect but in the age of Photoshop, I've learned to distrust such perfection. |

By the light of the moon.by marboComment: I've been here, but during the day. Fabulous take on this place, wonderful perspective, lighting is supurb, but watch the sharpening in the foreground ... A bit much IMO. |
