Hammocks on the Seaby wkmenComment: I agree I like this shot alot but could do without the branches at the top, really like how the water just disapears into white. Great shot. |

Signs of ageby carlosmfernandesComment: ::Critique Club::
This shot is great, composition, lighting, contrast, and angle. The only thing I can think of is over sharpening in Photoshop, if that’s not the case and this is how the person really looks then disregard. I think the chin could have benefited from a slightly smaller aperture to make it pop alittle more. I wish you could have cloned out that noise hair, not that distracting but once I saw it my eye kept going back, but this was a basic challenge so it was against the rules to do such a move. I like the overall image and subject and think I would have given it a 6. |

Ceci n'est pas une bug.by katcocatComment: ::Critique Club::
I really like your subject. I think a few things that could help this photo would be smaller aperture making the whole “thing” sharp. Another would be a different table top to place it on, maybe black…I don’t know. I do love the other colors, and it’s eyes. Great! One more small thing, it’s eyes seem a bit hazy due to the light, but other than a diffuser or something along those lines I don’t know how to fix that. I think the border works also. Once again, great subject and attempt. |

First off I like what’s going on here. I agree with Konador stating that this could have used a bit more contrast. I do think that a smaller aperture would have been better also, now as to how much. I don't know if you want to see all the way down due to the background might not be as appealing as you would want it, I don't know because I can't make it out. I think the zipper itself should be more in the frame, maybe not center but just not hanging off like that. I like your subject and your attempt.

Hello, other than the handle this is a good sharp picture. Like Konador has already stated is that this photo would probably benefit from being a B&W image due to it's lack of color. I think that and using an aperture of about 16 or higher would give your shot sharpness all over. I like that you thought out of the box in choosing your subject. This is definitely something that is different and that with a few adjustments would look much better.
