I agree I like this shot alot but could do without the branches at the top, really like how the water just disapears into white. Great shot. |

I really like the high key effect. The water looks cool the way it fades out on the edges. In my mind the shot would be improved by eliminating those tree branch on top, and maybe having a person laying or sitting in one of the hammocks.
Good shot, looks like a nice place! |

I agre that the sky could be better defined but otherwise a good shot. |

This shot is wonderful, very serene, especially the way you have caught the reflections. I like the composition, but i'm not sure if i find the branches/leaves at the top slightly distracting, maybe if there were more of them... or cut then out completely. They look a bit lost especially the big twig on the left. But a Brilliant shot and it definately gains a lot from being in black & white, complementing the shots simplicity. |

i like this shot as it is, and i imagine i would like any number of variations of it. if you want to take a hand a burning it, you might try the following. create an overlay layer filled with a 50% gray. then use a 90px brush at 30% opacity to paint in the areas you want to burn (make sure black is your foreground color though). the 90/30 is a starting point--you can always roll back through your history and try different settings. have fun, and good luck! |

Heheh, I wouldn't worry about the burn tool too much: sure that sky could do with a bit more definition, but I quite like it as is - the high key impression I get is quite effective. |
