First off I like what’s going on here. I agree with Konador stating that this could have used a bit more contrast. I do think that a smaller aperture would have been better also, now as to how much. I don't know if you want to see all the way down due to the background might not be as appealing as you would want it, I don't know because I can't make it out. I think the zipper itself should be more in the frame, maybe not center but just not hanging off like that. I like your subject and your attempt.

| I think with a B&W photo you really need to boost the contrast a bit higher than this to give it more impact. |

| Great Micro shot however imo I believe the sipper should have been the focal point and it seems a bit out of focus. I think if you had the zipper as your focal point it would have been more dramatic. Nice texture and I think B&W works well and good DOF. Nice job! |
