The Dark Halfby magicshutterComment: This is a terrific image, and a very interesting technique. I didn't vote in this challenge, but if I had this would have been at the top of my list. Well done.

Eyes by librodoComment: Too much yellow, and the nose and lips are blown out.

Solitudeby ZoomdakComment: Congratulation on the top-ten finish Thomas. I'm really surprised that this didn't get a ribbon. It is such a fantastic photo!
As I’m sure you know, the coastline of Oregon has an abundance of dramatically beautiful scenery—some of the most picturesque locations on the planet actually. You should get out and take a shot at capturing more of it. I feel quite sure that you have the talent to do it justice.
Good luck in your future challenges!

Early Morning Seascape by jonpinkComment: Congratulations on the ribbon Jon! This is an awesome photo. The only thing missing is a little bit of blue on the end. :)
In my book, this was the best image in the challenge. Very well done.

A Proud Birdby mariomelComment: This is a wondeful photo. For nits, I might pick the dirty feather, a somewhat too bright background, and a few of the feathers on top of the bird's head seem a bit out of focus. Did you get this shot in the wild, or is this a captive bird?

Spring Flowersby trainComment: Beautiful photo. Can't see why anyone would challenge its validity. |
