Mother's Loveby shkelly587Comment: A bit low contrast, which is tough not to do when shooting into the sun, but this is the shot I tried to get (roughly) for this competion, and it is much better than anything I got. Sweet capture. |

Vibrant Hydrantby SharonSComment: Does this count s a depiction of another's work? I don't know but I know I like it. Georgeous colors. |

Box Lunchesby sherComment: Interesting shot, quite evocative. great B&W conversion. composition bothers me a bit, I find it the weakest part of a fine shot. The window on the right runs parralell while the one on the left slants out of the frame silghtly and the heavy base of the sidewalk has no compensating cap to stop the eye from sliding off the top of the picture while they follow the vertical lines upward. Still, nice shot. |

Freedom of speech.by DufusComment: cutting the head off of the person front and center hurts this shot quite a bit, it is almost as if you have chosen to silence him. I don't know why the hotel in the backround took precidence over the crowd. |

A Cockatielby trainComment: one of the few borders I have ever seen that helps the shot. strong composition, the curves of the branch seem to echo the head feathers. top notch. |

Cheers!by peeteComment: the crop is a bit tight, I would like to see black at the top of the flame, and either show the reflection in all its glory or shoot it on somthing that is less reflective, as it is it just distracts from the overall composition. Great lighting on the glass while maintaining a full color spectrum on the flame, tough job to do and you did that part very well. |

Lone Treeby omnibusComment: you loose detail in the sky and the shadows , perhaps a polarising filter would have darkened the sky a bit, but I find myself squinting into this shot to try to see details that aren't there. I also find the crop a bit too tight on the bottom given the space above the tree tip. Nice sense of place and quite though. |

Take Cover!by sjonniComment: beautifull exposure, good crop, focus and colors, but just a bit too stagey. I don't really know why but it looks as if the subject is reacting to the situation for the camera. Hard to explain why this bothers me; other than that it is fine in every reguard. |

Aloneby cimarron98Comment: Reread rules, rescored shot, revised comment. Nice shot well framed with perhaps a bit too saturated a sky for my taste. I find the grass in the lower right distracting, but if you cropped it above that the rocks wouldn't work nearly as well. |
