Fisher's Coveby patio127Comment: Morning Patio 127,
Nice image, really get the sence of tranquility and warmth here. Exposure is nice, good detail all around including the piece of land sticking out, nice work there. Tonality is good and I like the use of the palms here nice effect they give overall scale to the image. The only thing is the compostion the image as a whole is to centered ( top to bottom ) the sun & it's ray come right down the middle of the image and we see just a bit too much water in the foreground, a little cropping here would have be justifyed. With that being said the way you captured the image clearly seems to work here. This is a wonderful image all the way around, nice work !!!. I would have scored it much higher.

phhtttt...A wild, wet, slobbery raspberry!by WriteHeartComment: Hello Writeheart,
The framing here is well done, Nice to see the catch light in the eye a must for any closeup wildlife good job there. The background however is a killer, the white is very distracting & the tree limbs keep drawing me away. The focus seams a wee bit soft ( hand held) I assume.I also see just a bit of a hotspot on the right side of the face just above the nose to the eye. Overall though you did a great job under the conditions put in front of you. |

Lighting the Fog by NuzzerComment: Hi Nuzzer,
Love the compostion, two leeding lines work wonderful the bush & the grass very nice touch. Like the placement of the tree clearly giving scale to the entire image. Don't think you got up to late either, the fog is just right thick enough to see clearly yet thin enough to peer through very well done. The only thing here that needs addressing is he hot spot (sun) polerizing filter may have toned down the glare & given you a deeper blue sky. With that being said, this is a wonderful image. Great framing, nice colors, & a stunning visual effect, A truly stunning image....Great job.

Levitateby purpleflutterby13Comment: Hi Purp,
Sorry about the delay, I did it twice went to have a smoke and go logged out...lol. Nice capture, I like the composition here the shadow as a leedin works really well here the placement of your subject is just right any futher up in the frame and I feel it would have had that condensed look. You have just the right balance of people in the background and all doing different things, any more and the capture would have looked overwelhming. The only thing I didn't like & I feel hurts the capture just a bit is the gentleman to the right of he frame, ( the guy cut in half ) other wise the compostion is very well done. Your exposure is nice, nice tonel ranges. The only thing disruptive is at the right of the frame between the children down to your subjects feet and leeding out of the frame has lost it detail due to the washout (sun) Im talking about the ground portion here. I like the fact that you showed us a building ( the corner ) so we know its a building this was a nice touch. In the capture itself if you look on the sign pole 2/3 the way up I don't know what it is, a white box very distracting & just below the white line looks like pipe on the building but it is way out of contrast to the rest of the building. The last is the title, is he levitateing ?. The first thing any good judge looks at is, does the title match the capture They will hammer you if it does not, I know, it has happen to me twice &I personally know two state judges here in Nevada that are very picky on capture & title. Other wise I love the capture, A great piece of work, street captures are to m he toughest photograph there is and you did a great job captureing the ENTIRE seen.I think you have a sellable capture here. Again Great Work here.

Live Musicby russiComment: Morning Russi,
Well done Russi, this is not an easy shot to get. Though there is alot of space between the artist and top of the frame getting the spot & bank of lights makes it work here. The only thing I would have liked to see here is a ittle wider angle catching the complete band equipment. Again this is well done for not having control over the situation, I like it. |

American Chopperby JohnnyflashComment: Morning Flash,
Concept is nice, to much grunge. The building looks out of place along with the tires on the rare of the trailer. The piece of paper in the back ground in front of building is distracting. The wind sheild on the other bike gives the impression it is dirty, not grunge. The back ground is to busy eye keeps wondering. The black line along his leg takes out part of his leg. I would have liked to see more detail in the bike & he seems distracted by something to his right.

*POP* Cultureby tapeworm_jimmyComment: Morning Tapeworm,
The concept is nice the photo is terrible. I looks like and x-ray gone bad. Your black & White tonel rangers are way off. The Light kills to much of the details in the shirt and whatever you used to lift the inside look like the x-ray one bad. Also the neck is very distracting not sure what it is but my eye is constintly drawn to it trying to figure out what it is. Nice effort though. |

Peace, Love, and Rock 'n Rollby maxaz1Comment: Hi Maxaz1
Love the shot. Only thing I would hve done differently was the chain. I would have snaked it between the eyes and around the nose or had it look like they were wareing it. Other wise what can I say great Photograp.
