Taken on holiday in Paris. Not sure if this is the right photo to submit - I've got a variety of different ones for this month. I really like it though, so I'll just go with it...

This is so curious... the composition, the subject of course, and the expressions on the faces of the people watching... It's very classic!

so funny... I was in Montmartre today, and I actually saw THIS guy breakdancing with his mates! The show was terrific!

I have to agree that the 3 different planes of depth (dancer/crowd/building) is fantastic!

Hi Purp,
Sorry about the delay, I did it twice went to have a smoke and go logged out...lol. Nice capture, I like the composition here the shadow as a leedin works really well here the placement of your subject is just right any futher up in the frame and I feel it would have had that condensed look. You have just the right balance of people in the background and all doing different things, any more and the capture would have looked overwelhming. The only thing I didn't like & I feel hurts the capture just a bit is the gentleman to the right of he frame, ( the guy cut in half ) other wise the compostion is very well done. Your exposure is nice, nice tonel ranges. The only thing disruptive is at the right of the frame between the children down to your subjects feet and leeding out of the frame has lost it detail due to the washout (sun) Im talking about the ground portion here. I like the fact that you showed us a building ( the corner ) so we know its a building this was a nice touch. In the capture itself if you look on the sign pole 2/3 the way up I don't know what it is, a white box very distracting & just below the white line looks like pipe on the building but it is way out of contrast to the rest of the building. The last is the title, is he levitateing ?. The first thing any good judge looks at is, does the title match the capture They will hammer you if it does not, I know, it has happen to me twice &I personally know two state judges here in Nevada that are very picky on capture & title. Other wise I love the capture, A great piece of work, street captures are to m he toughest photograph there is and you did a great job captureing the ENTIRE seen.I think you have a sellable capture here. Again Great Work here.

Oh, what a great street photo! And PERFECT timing to capture the levitator in that exact position. I love the urban energy here! I like this one.

Awesome street photography. The balance between the dancer and the crowd and the building is perfect. Nice work.

Is this in Bath? Anyway - this has such a 20's feel about it: you know how fascinated they were with the human form in photography and tried to catch people doing amazing things...obviously it's a 21st Century pic from the fashions...but it has that look about it. Love it and I love B+W so this gets a happy 8 from me.

Right then, joke's on me as I now have to plough through 564 images and bump them all (yes, all of them) up. There'll be a third run through for fine tuning. It's day two now and I'm running late, sorry.

Full of fascination - great street shot - did you ever work as Fellini's recruiting agent? 8
