Jamaican Watchdogby TuckersmomComment: Wonderfully seen and photographed. Really gives a mood of lazy day "who cares?" feeling. I like the bit of glow. The colors of the dog stand out nicely in those surroundings. Good eye to get this one. You really have a knack for composition and interest in your photos. |

Waitingby TuckersmomComment: I love how you have filled the frame here. I also like the editing, however I wish there was just a little bit of detail / texture to the white part. |

Berries Anyone?by TuckersmomComment: I like this one alot. It reminds me of a berry shot that I scored very high in the "rain" challenge. The colors of the berries against the dark green background is very nice. I think the border detracts from the photo, though. The photo itself has nice, natural colors, good clarity and focus, and appealing composition. Well done! |

Girlsby rox_roxComment: This is really uplifting. Carefree is the feeling that comes to mind. Technically well done, with great exposure on the water and the sky, composition is perfect with movement and balance, and the horizon is straight. I like that the beach is not totally dark as well.
Thanks for sharing this one! |

P1030010sharper.jpgby peterishComment: hmm...honestly this one does absolutely nothing for me. I'm not sure what that is all over the apple? The colors aren't appealing and the composition is not very creative IMO. I do see the outline of the Snoopy character in the Peanuts comic strip! :oP
Sorry that this one doesn't work for me, but I hope the comments are helpful. |

1913by RiponladyComment: The tones, details and focus here are well done. My choice would be to straighten the verticals a bit or really make it more angled. As it is now, the post in the front is very distracting for me because of the angle. I can see that the doorway is even, but it's not as major an element as the foreground post IMO.
I also wish the lady had an umbrella or book or something. The pose seems rather uncomfortable or unnatural to me.
For the challenge, I probably would have given this a 6 or 7. It is a good shot. I hope this is helpful! |

kat 2 8x10.jpgby jpochardComment: Actually, my favorite crop of this has more cropped off of the left. This crop is to fit the 8x10 aspect ratio. In order to fit that, if I cropped off of the left more, the rest of the photo changed and I didn't care for it as much (too much elbow, just a slight bit of sunglasses (was distracting), etc.
Thanks for the comments! |

Butterfly Orgyby SJCarterComment: This is so cool. You have the best butterfly photos. I would maybe play around with the colors on this one. I would desat the background and greens just a bit and pump up the butterfly colors - also just a tiny bit. I think it would maintain the scene, but give an easier subject to focus on for the viewer since there is a lot going on.
I do like it alot just the way it is as well. How wonderful to have the camera and be available to capture this sight. Thanks for sharing! |

boys2.jpgby garlicComment: For some reason, the green one doesn't seem to work here for me. It might be the wall, it might be the blown out part of the chest. The expression is also a little odd I think. Anyway, I really like all the rest of it. Did you ask your "model" to just make funny faces or what? I'll be he thinks it's fun too. |
