Mill Mountain Starby SJCarterComment: The sky is great...post processing or like that originally? Good angle on the star and interesing subject. It would be interesting to see this lit up too! |

Dustyby SJCarterComment: Lovely clear crisp closeup! Your patient definitely paid off big here. Colors are very nice...not oversaturated, but enough to pop some, and very complimentary. Have you tried flipping it 90 degrees? |

Sun Burstby SJCarterComment: I like the other one better. This one is too dark for my tastes and the dof leaves too much of the butterfly oof imo. Overall certainly a nice shot for most peoples...but not your best I think. |

Corn Silkby SJCarterComment: Now this one I love. I think you've edited it perfectly and the shot itself was a great angle and capture of the butterfly. I love the golden / natural / brownish tones that go throughout the photo. This is my fav. so far. |

Bloomsby SJCarterComment: This is very well done, just doesn't suit my particular tastes. I like the glow that seems to soften the filter just a bit. It does bring some attention to the details of the shot. |

Blue Ridge Sunsetby SJCarterComment: I love the layers and muted colors. Really gives an "end of the day" sereness to it. That one burst of brighter blue in the upper left corner seems to not go with the rest of the tones of the photo. I hope to get to the smokies sometime this fall for some shots. This is lovely. |

Mr. Flyby SJCarterComment: What a great close up! I would crop some more off of the bottom as I think that bottom broad leaf detracts some from your subject. You caught the metalic sheen very well here. Good work. |

Bambiby SJCarterComment: Oh how cute! I just love this little baby and it's a wonderful natural shot. Thanks for sharing this one. |

It's Not Easy Being Greenby SJCarterComment: Neat shot! I agree the caterpillar appears just a tad bit overexposed, but still very nice! Looks like maybe you did a slight desat on the background, and I might be tempted to desat even a bit more to separate out the subject better.
All nitpicking though as this is excellent as it is. |

Trout Streamby TannyComment: The water and angle in this is just right. I really feel like I'm just standing right on the bank with my feet in the water. The green does appear over saturated in several areas. The shutter speed is really perfect for the water. Nice effect and mood to the shot. |
