My patience and perseverence paid off! I've been trying to get a good shot of one of these little guys for a while.

Handheld, 46mm zoom, used stacked close-up filter set (+1, +2, & +4).

Excellent. Just enough sharpness and DOF. Have you tried rotating this around to see how it looks? The way I read this is top down which for me is a bit unorthodox. It doesn't hurt the image just different.

Lovely clear crisp closeup! Your patient definitely paid off big here. Colors are very nice...not oversaturated, but enough to pop some, and very complimentary. Have you tried flipping it 90 degrees?

Great focus on lavendel and eye of butterfly...gosh. Again I would try different cropping... half of flower and half of butterfly...keeping in center moust sharpest detail. Just idea maybe not best one. :)

We see so many butterflies but this definitely has the WOW factor. It's the color, the mixture with the purple bloom - MAN - make this available for a print. It is just beautiful!

What a stunning capture of a stunning butterfly, and worth all the patience that you had. I love this one, well done.
The "Bokeh" or DOF, is also beautiful.
