Umbrellas in the Lane by jomariComment: Congratulations, Marion. 9 from me and one of my top three - all of which made it into the top three for a change, so I'm pretty pleased with myself LOL |

Rasputitsa by NeatComment: Wonderful work, my top pick, and my only 10. I really regret not having commented on this challenge as there were any number of excellent entries, but I was super busy last week. |

When the rain passed by markwileyComment: Almost gave both you and Anita 10's, but finally decided I was a bit more drawn to hers. Love love this, though, and am delighted (but not at all surprised) to see it at the top. Congratulations, Mark. |

A Mother's Lamentby KenComment: Title is very nice. For me the balance between face and chest is not working. I love the face, love the hands . . . wish she'd been wearing something different so I didn't have such an expanse of shoulder/chest. What bothers me is that I find I have to stop and figure out what this is every time I view it - the initial impression is just of a big, amorphous blob in the center. Gave it a 7 as I do like so much about it. Voted days ago . . . back to comment on a few. |

Shade and Lightby AliaaComment: Perfect lighting and lovely repeating, receding shapes. I love places like this. Voted days ago . . . back to comment on a few. |

Spiral Staircase by kasabaComment: Love the lines, shapes, spiral. Whites could be a bit whiter for me, but I wouldn't want any more light area, so I'm not sure. I would probably look at reducing the lightness of the largest area (the top arc) and then maybe making that very narrow, jagged spiral whiter. Not sure how, though LOL Voted days ago . . . back to comment on a few. 7 here |

Lotuslandby labudsComment: Love love the main lotus. Not as crazy about the rest of the image. If the pod in the center was flipped, I'd suggest a vertical crop with only the open blossom and the pod; as it is, I have no suggestions. 7 Voted days ago . . . back to comment on a few. |

Shadow Catby BaldurTComment: Terrific perspective and catch. Love the combination of patterns (shadow, mat, fur). Would like whiter whites - this fals a bit flat for me. 7 Voted days ago . . . back to comment on a few. |

Strings in Blackby US2UKComment: Love the simplicity and the fact that I know exactly and instantly what this is - the very essence of a guitar. I could use a LITTLE more detail, though - but I'm not sure what. Voted days ago . . . back to comment on a few. |
