Amethyst Sunbird II (PAW 3/52)by HarveyGComment: Not as showy as the male, of course, but a very pretty little bird. I like the unusual hooked beak shape and I love the motion blur on the wing. |

2. curiousby PennyStreetComment: I love the color. What does it look like with bw in place of the brown tones? |

Week 2 - Texturesby BeckyTComment: Great textures. I wondered about the white, too. Maybe if you rotated 90 degrees clockwise you'd have what looked like a tulip bed :) Well seen, Becky. |

IMG_3670-The-Design-tree-800by sfaliceComment: Another that's well seen - and one where I would have wished they hadn't decided to hang banner signs on the siding. The design elements of the tree, glass and siding work so well together! |

IMG_3660-communication-is-King-800by sfaliceComment: Very well seen - Germaine said it well - a visual oxymoron. It takes money to live in and keep up a house like this - more than it would a modern house in most cases. Not surprising that the owners would enjoy modern technology in addition to appreciating the beauty of tradition. |

cooling offby AbraComment: I love the wreath and popsicle combination - as Dennis says, it's an unusual juxtaposition for many of us. I would also like this with the top of the door cropped off - maybe just below the lock and above the flag - to reduce the number of colors and design elements. |

Family of fourby EnlightenedComment: I think the exercise you described is very good for you - I do the same sometimes and while I usually have a few regrets, I also get some shots I wouldn't even have seen with a different lens. I think the focus on these leaves is very fine - love the warm coppery brown color and the very nice detail. Lovely. |
