Catching up, this Bar (Cocktail Lounge?) way out on Geary St. has it's own design tree. And yes, it's theirs. The way that tree and its shadow mimic the cocktail glass just pleased me completely, so a reach for the ever-present camera and there it is: entry #2 in Architectural Quirks & Oddities.

I like how the tree, shadows and glass on sign all seem to lean in the same direction.

The tree and its shadow make up a nice extra accent.

And they have their own cameras taking picture you taking picture of them! Strong comp with the tree and martini glass, well seen!

Another that's well seen - and one where I would have wished they hadn't decided to hang banner signs on the siding. The design elements of the tree, glass and siding work so well together!

Quirky :) Is the tree at the back door where the patron sneak a pee? It looks like it's had one too many too :)
Well spotted. Complimentary subjects. I might have cut out the left side brickwork, but kept the lower brickwork.

That tree looks like it's been there since the beginning of time.

LOL. That tree looks like it's been propping up the bar since opening time! It and the sign should be singing a song. Great shadow.

I wouldn't want to have to many martini's and lean on that tree! Look at those spikes! They throw off a great shadow.
