ulgy orangesby maisiebComment: I don't mean to be rude, but I thought oranges are explicitly stated in the rules for this challenge as an exclusion. Having said that, the luminosity of the oranges is quite interesting. The triangular arrangement is very harmonious. The folds of the background add some visual interest. There are however, white specks near the edge on the left, although small, somehow, are distracting. Still, it's a good effort for the challenge. |

Orangeby JacquesComment: This is great. Lots of visual elements here. I find the figures on the wall stealing the limelight from the orange subject. In fact my eyes focus on the figures rather than the bottles. Perhaps taking this at a shallower DOF at a larger aperture (to blur the background a little bit) would do the trick. Nevertheless, it shows that you really put a lot of effort for the challenge and your results are quite beautiful. |

sweet carrotby PowerShot73Comment: Stark, simple, beautiful. Would probably have more interest if it were offcenter and maybe arranged in a diagonal fashion. But still, it is a very well thought of entry to the challenge. |

"Orange? What Shade of Orange?"by jbporscheComment: What a fat duck! I like the in your face, head on, centered presentation. It really emphasizes the fatness of the duck. Orange color may not dominate the picture, but it certainly is a player. A ten for me. |

Dessert fantasyby RUEDISCHMUTZComment: Orange on black is definitely the way to go. Lots of elements here though, that the eye can't decide where to focus. I wonder if taking out the butterfly could simplify things. |

Orange Berriesby crisComment: Nice macro and good DOF. A little bit of noise though but that can be repaired in neatimage which you can download for free. |

Orange Treeby lisarelComment: It seems overexposed to me at the top. If that's what you wanted for effect, then congratulations, you succeeded. |

Ripeby szwedComment: It's like an eerie out of this world landscape. It shows that you really took time to think about this - lighting is great and details are clear in this pineapple. I don't like the orange border though. Perhaps a neutral (white and black) border would suffice. |
