Together for life

Having children and still a small daughter, I look for these type shots, perhaps I understand the times before and after, the need, want and futile longing to freeze a certain spot in life. Photography lets us all relate and freeze that moment.

Before children, before my daughter, (the figurative and perhaps literal completion of a certain cycle of my life) I never felt as alive, never felt purpose in the same way as I do now.

We all need to be needed- and for me this hits on a specific instance and situation. Perhaps it will translate to the childless, or those at different stages of their lives.

Sorry to ramble, and yes I did get a bit choked up as well. 10 from me.
