Hollyhocks and Pearsby grahamgatorComment: Here less would have been more. Just the flowers remind of a Fantin Latour for instance. I do not think that for the impressionists the subject of a still life was of such mportance. A vase with flowers or a few apples in a proper light would have been enough.
As a still life photo I find the filter too much. With a standard editting would be so much nicer |

At the lakeby AmmieComment: Nice understanding of the challenge. Reminds me of a forerunner, of Courbet. Well done |

Purisimaby Les_FeckComment: Very sweet, as sweet as the impressionists outlook on nature. The problem is it's too.....likeable. well done technically, certainly superior to most images here who used filters ad nauseam. Well done |

Coming soon to a theater near youby markwileyComment: I thought that these misspelled words were on purpose. When depressed everything cracks or craks or raks, descent or decent or cent for that mattaer matter.
But I did not like the image, the processing, the font or the poster. Gave it a 5 for the idea behind it.
In this forum it's not only praise, that's why we placed our names on the list Message edited by author 2016-11-06 18:18:44. |
