Charlie by salmiakkiComment: I find this so well done that I cannot even say more.
What puzzles me (but this is NOT a criticism) is the presence of some greenish/grayish hue between the light areas and the shadows. In my pictures I think that it is a defect because in a painting this area would not be greenish; and it's unfair and unproductive though to compare a photo with a painting.Just a thought.
I dislike to leave comments only after the results - it seems unfair - but I forgot to look at this challenge during voting. It would have been 10 |

Bountyby grahamgatorComment: So perfectly balanced. The big,red pumpkin longing for more light...a beauty.
I wish I knew how far away is your background from your objects. And what light. What do I know. Your patience in arranging and lighting is exquisite.

Winkby MeMex2Comment: I don't know where you found this whimsical creature!
I forgot (again) to vote and look at this challenge and as much as I find odd to make comments after the results, I had to tell you that this is one of the most endearing and funny image of an owl. |

Three hundred years by LevTComment: I missed voting on this challenge.
I would love to leaf through the book even if I cannot read it. Such a beauty.
To me it lacks some air around it and it looks so very sharp, especially the detail of the velvet who mimics too much the detail of the worn cover. Could be my monitor though. |

Still life with a maskby LevTComment: I think that it might be the first time that I tell you that you lost the mystery. The sfumatto. To me it's all too crisp, too ... shall I dare say?...technically oriented.
I say this because I am such a fan of your pics. |
