Assistant's Mile Long Legsby flip89Comment: I like the pose and the color contrasts. I think it might have been nice to have some fill light under the chair to keep the yellow brightness even as sort of a natural backdrop. |

1,000,000 and 1 Expressionsby GUYinaTIEComment: Very nice! I think it would have been a good idea to clone out the upper right corner structure. Also, perhaps a darker shirt to focus us on the face. |

The Believerby yael27Comment: Nicely done; The only issue I see is the very bright light behind his head/hat. I wish you had cloned that out. |

Four for the wallby mrorange002Comment: Eric, great shot!
Now, here's the challenge for you. You will cherish this if you do it. Every year, take one of these with her holding LAST YEAR's pic. Do that for the next 10 years until she's fully matured. It will indeed be precious. (I did this with a video my daughter's first 5 or so years, kept shooting video of her on the same couch, you can see her develop in real time. A photo like this would be even more awesome!
Catch them while they're young! |

Contributionby thatcloudthereComment: I didn't vote on that, and the photo is really nice, but I give your comments an even higher mark for entertainment. Very funny. |

Stalking her prey...by jmleliiComment: This is a beautiful shot--you should have done better. I do think it would have been good to watch out for the end of the makeup and her hair showing at the top. |

No Pictures, Please!by ChiquiComment: The lightest parts of a photo attract the eye, so your background is stealing some of your subjects limelight.
Some suggestions for this: if you have enough resolution, you might consider cropping tightly to the head, eliminating the background but focusing on the paw over the eyes. Then you can adjust levels on the photo so the lighting is a bit better than just shade. If it can be done in a manner that retains sharpness without being oversharpened, you have a wonderful, humorous shot! |
