 This is a candid shot of my former student assistant. I was peeking into the classroom next door to my lab looking for a student who had this gorgeous braided hair and who I was going to photograph for this challenge.

My former student assistant who was assisting the class in session was sitting on the chair next to the yellow chemical cabinet at the back of the room. Still outside the door, I signalled to her that I was going to take a shot of her - but really, just her legs.

Autolevels, saturation, unsharp mask.

Ah yes, quite a defining feature. Good choice for the red panty hose, it adds great interest. Bumping up.

I like the pose and the color contrasts. I think it might have been nice to have some fill light under the chair to keep the yellow brightness even as sort of a natural backdrop.

The red on the yellow is great but I think the white of the skirt throws off the groove a bit. I wish the skirt was gone. (Yeah, that way would be great! but just a different cropping or something would work too.) :)
