I'm watching you.by Delta_6Comment: I love the intensity and awareness of this beautiful Tiger's stare. In this face is the emotion of the wild primeval predator. Eloquent capture. |

Heliosby banmornComment: Awesome reds and yellows in this beautiful close-up. It reminds me of a natural eye opening and keeping watch over Mortality. |

Galloping through powder snowby snafflesComment: This captures the unbounded sense of Freedom and Joy found by the wild and domesticated creatures in Nature. The black and white fits this perfectly and the snowy ripples are delightful - kick up your heels and dance! |

Fountains Abbeyby p2jvrComment: The crisp white soft snow gives these ruins a quiet sense of winter peace. I like the rillet as the vertical lines echo the distant architecture. The even sky provides a reflective grey illumination to light most of the capture but the woods on the left are dark. |

The end of the game by WindtaleComment: Ah, the Umbrella Man is back - although that appendage probably won't do him much good if he continues forward and steps into the sea. I like this as it is completely surreal ala the style of Magritte. The soft textures of the waves belie the wide expanse of lonely ocean. He gives pause to consider his Journey - and ours. Outstanding! |

East Coast Lighthouseby KarenNfldComment: The stark black and white tones are perfect for encapsulating the isolated loneliness of this lighthouse on the bluff. It brings out the jagged textures of the rock and gives focus to the clapboard white wood of the building in contrast with the smooth wooden fencing. The sky is lowering and mimics the sea below. This looks old and historic and very well preserved. |

Same Old, Same Oldby BJokerudComment: This frosted collie looks mighty cold but is still quite dignified and patient. I like the off-centre angles of this, it flows. |
