The Morning After by Samantha_TComment: WD on the Blue!
ETA: After reading Giles_uk's take I feel more at ease saying this. I also thought most of the shots were shoe horns. This is just masterfully shot and deserves the win. Message edited by author 2012-02-08 02:23:48. |

Not feeling too (Yo_)spiffyby herfotomanComment: Hermann. Crisp and sharp, nice colours. Love the muck on everything and the reflection in the sunnies. Face in shade is a bummer though, strips the power out of the shot. |

Staying groundedby Silent-ShooterComment: Ha! Great take Stephen. Pity about the wind. Love the white takkies. Was she wearing black Nike's? Crisp and clean and fun. |

Weatheredby AdzComment: Bear_Music sells papers?!
ETA: PS: What lens is it then? Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 ? :) You should print a Jumbo and give him copy. Message edited by author 2012-02-08 02:07:27. |

Seaside Abodeby darnokComment: Hi Konrad. Take the skew buildings away and this would (again) be right up there. May I suggest trying another but get the building perspective straight and see how it would do? Advanced editing allows it I think. Or shoot more sky and less earth, to get the buildings in the middle of the frame where there's less distortion. I thought long and hard before getting my Tokina 12-24mm f/4 ATC PRO DX due it's distortion, but then I seldom photograph buildings with it. I prefer to use the 28mm DG Sigma (=42mm on DX) for that. Saves me PP :) |

January Afternoonby bspurgeonComment: Yup there's the blue hand... :) Oddly I appreciated it enough for a 7. These images are growing on me, like a fungus :)
If you ever win a challenge with a pinhole shot how are you going to validate it? :) Email them a picture of the tin foil with needle hole? hehe. |

West Fork, Trinity Riverby Yo_SpiffComment: Yes impressive, especially for the sensor size. I out commented myself this challenge. Sorry didn't get to this. I guess my 7 was comment enough :) |

Got mouse?by snafflesComment: I know you can't DO anything about the POV if he's on a 10" pole :) It's just an observation and I have the same dilemma as you did when submitting. Show the pole or don't show it and take a beating from the "It's a bird park shot" if showing a portrait only. 7 from me :) |
