Of Rain and Ruination by jomariComment: Spring/summer showers? This fills the frame beautifully, with lots of interesting places for the eye to wander, many providing an almost tactile sensation.
Well done Marion. Congratulations! |

Coming and Goingby PixelstateComment: Back to comment and bump.
Very appealing. It has the feel of a woodcut! A good choice of image for this technique, it captures the activity without the need for too much detail. I love the quintessential four face clock hanging in the center, and for an ex-pat like me that unchanging Boots sign is always a special reminder of Britain! |

Bear_Music 2017by Art RoflmaoComment: Just seeing this. Love the Dorian Gray image :-)
Nor sure how much Robert is frequenting DPC this week as his son is visiting for a while and the two of them took off for a week in Maine (predominantly). Message edited by author 2017-10-25 22:32:06. |

promenade railingby tvsometimeComment: It's neat how only the shadow reveals the tines (or whatever the extensions of the railings below the lowest horizontal bar are called). Love the shadows and the overall patterns. Good eye! |

cloudburst with rainbowby tangueraComment: If it was like our Maine weather it was a case of "out of a clear blue sky..." I'm talking about the rain and the rainbow, not the clouds. Impressive, well seen. |

Rain-fed riverby KroburgComment: I'm not always a fan of water taken with long exposure times, but this slightly lengthened exposure (I'm guessing) enhances the image beautifully. It's a very pleasing combination of different color palettes. I don't think this is North Wales, but the image reminds me of hiking there and having the weather deteriorate into something like this quite suddenly. |
