No Fear!by brumosComment: it's a very cool shot, but 'no fear' was not the challenge! you should check whether your horizon was level, it seems to slope a tad. -- gr8photos (2) |

No reprieve.by millerComment: sorry, too close up and blurry for me. i think there's a reflection in the iris that's important to the photo, but very hard to make out. -- gr8photos (2) |

dear fatherby magnetic9999Comment: i totally can't make up my mind whether the graininess or oversharpening )or whatever this effect is) is good or not. -- gr8photos (5) |

No Fearby stephanComment: no fear was not the challenge topic! as for the photo, motion blur is great, and would work well, but then the subject should be in focus and the background blurred or vice versa. not both. photo's also too dark. -- gr8photos (2) |

Crossingby manoloComment: i like the lighting in this one, but i think the oof-ness (is there such a word?) doesn't add to the photo, although i suspect you were using that to make it look more frightening. i guess i'm just rarely a fan of overall blurred pictures, sorry. -- gr8photos (2) |

The Fear of Commitment by RoninComment: great interpretation of the challenge. i really like this shot. one thing (nitpicky) - i would like the note to be handwritten rather than typed and on some less white paper. still, one of my top 10 this week. -- gr8photos (9) |

is fallingby defrostedComment: hmm. is this fear of falling from the bridge (in which case, i think the viewpoint should be higher up to give that impression) or fear that something will fall off the bridge (in which case, a little less blur would be better IMHO). for me, this shot needs to point more clearly in a specific direction. i would've also cropped out the lights at the left/top. -- gr8photos (2) |

Don't be afraid ...by pnichollsComment: i think this would be a lot better if the focus was on the birds and not the trees in the background. i like the motion blur on the left bird. i know the focus is tough to achieve with moving subjects like that. manually focusing (if your camera allows that) is one option, or focusing on something that is the appropriate distance away and pressing the shutterbutton half way down to lock focus, then move the camera and take the picture is another option. -- gr8photos (2) |

trappedby heartsdivideComment: i'm sorry, i must be missing something here. the title is 'trapped' yet i see blue sky and trees. technically, there's nothing wrong with the photo, it just doesn't seem to fit in the challenge and doesn't have a real focal point to hold my interest by itself. -- gr8photos (2) |

There's something out there.by ttruthComment: ... but unfortunately this photo is soo dark on my monitor that i really can't make anything out. i realize that this is likely your intent to make it more scary, but as a photo, it does not appeal to me at all, sorry. -- gr8photos (2) |
